Creative Ambition

Engaging with the client’s objectives and the historical significance associated with the site, enabled us to design an engaging walk through experience and visitor centre that enhanced the interpretation of the story behind King Richard III and provide an unprecedented discovery platform for the city and county.

Customised Experience

Our ability to translate interesting creative design ideas in to a reality was perfectly executed by creating an immersive walk through of the Battle of Bosworth using edge blended projection onto two walls.

Using a Pepper’s Ghost effect we were able to create a CT scanner of Richard III’s body, transforming a lifeless artefact into an interactive exhibit.

Precise Execution

Faced with restricted timescales for achieving this project in time for the opening date, our team were required to deliver this experience in the space of one month as opposed to three months.

Seamless Support

Working alongside media creatives in the artistic refinement period and during the preparation of content enabled us to construct a meticulous design that was capable of enhancing the strength of the reconstructed tales of King Richard III.

What the Client Says

"What we've got here is something that far exceeds any of my hopes and expectations. We've got some astonishingly imaginative work done by some very creative people who have used modern technology to take the history and to treat it very faithfully but to treat it in a way that is accessible to us in the 21st century."
Sir Peter Soulsby, Leicester City Mayor

What the Client Says

“Through AV we re-create this medieval world full of political intrigue and the atmosphere of battle balanced against the clinical ‘scientific’ displays and the quiet and contemplative graveside area.”
Iain Gordon, Richard III Visitor Centre Director
