SUPPORTING THE DELIVERY OF THE SPECTACULAR NEW V&A DUNDEE

Museum & Heritage

12/06/2018

The brand new V&A Dundee museum is set to be an impressive international centre of design, with an extensive showcase offering of Scottish creativity in addition to captivating collections from around the world. Designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, this bold and dynamic building takes inspiration from the Scottish cliffs with the architectural vision continuing through to the internal spaces.

This £80.1m project will open its doors to the public on Saturday 15 September when visitors will be able to explore the stunning temporary exhibition Ocean Liners: Speed and Style.  The Scottish Design Galleries will be the museum’s permanent galleries, housing a collection that tells the extraordinary story of Scottish design through around 300 objects ranging from architecture to fashion, healthcare to furniture and engineering to video game design.

Sysco are exceptionally proud to be part of this enormous feat and are currently working hard to deliver the audiovisual requirements across both the Ocean Liners: Speed and Style exhibition and the Scottish Design Galleries.

In addition to this, the Sysco team have been collaborating with V&A Dundee during the consultation period and development stages of the project to supply and integrate the entire AV infrastructure for the museum, including its auditorium, boardroom, learning and meeting rooms that are designed to support the ambitious plans for delivering an unprecedented museum in the region.
