WONDERLAND RESTAURANT’S MONARCH THEATRE SHORTLISTED FOR THE MARKETER & INNOVATOR ‘BEST USE OF TECHNOLOGY’ AWARD
Following the recent opening of Wonderland Restaurants first-ever immersive DC-themed restaurant experience, the Monarch Theatre has been shortlisted for the Restaurant Marketer & Innovator Awards, which recognise the growing importance of marketing, innovation and strategy professions within the restaurant and food service sector.
Shortlisted under the ‘Best use of Technology’ category, the exhilarating Monarch Theatre is a 20-seat venue that presents a truly one-of-a-kind gastronomic show, with carefully crafted staging and fully immersive courses that play with the senses.
Sysco helped to weave a narrative through the dining experience, combining world class gastronomy, with iconic stories of the notorious characters in Gotham City, all of which are brought to life through multi sensory immersion, striking visuals and spatial sound.
The entire menu is synchronised with themes, visual accents and audio narratives that punctuate the food being served. The harmonious fusion of audio, floor-to-ceiling screens and 360-degree projection mapping, all culminate to create the perfect stage for the eleven-course tasting menu.
Perfectly suited for projects of this nature, Sysco are always trying to push the boundaries of imagination and possibilities within social experiences. Collaborating with Wonderland Restaurants, Sysco supported the design, development, and integration of the multi-layered audio-visual elements, also assembling a world-class multi-disciplinary team, partnering with ISO Design who designed and produced the extraordinary media and Project Managers, Fraser Randall on the installation of the AV software and hardware.
The achievements made by the marketers, strategists and innovators that define the future of eating out, will be celebrated at the awards evening in London on 19 January 2022, as the grand finale of the Restaurant Marketer & Innovator European Summit 2022.Back to Press Room
